Divx Converter is the very one software to convert video files, save space in the hard drive, sharing videos with friends by email or post them throughout the web for the whole world to watch. The encoding is very easy to do, even for newbies. The great software will do all in only one step (plus a baby step): drag and drop, and then click a button. It will encode most video file formats: MPG, MPEG, VOB, M1V, M2V, TS, TP, WMV, AVI, AVS, MP4 and MOV (The PC must have QT 5+ installed on). It includes the possibility to use a MPEG-2/DVD Plug-in, which will let an entire movie fit on one CD.
It allows adding multiple sound tracks as well as subtitles. The video file and (srt) subtitles must be placed in the same directory and have the same name.
But this encoder is also for those who know about encoding, it posses settings for advanced users, it includes the possibility to change the encoding configuration so the user may have his or her own DVD according to his or her specifications. Divx Converter allows to change bit rates encoding in order to have more control, it allows to resize videos and it will also allow to determine the file size so that it can be burn to any disc.
